Its name is Commercial Vehicle Solutions and we had written about it back in July, when the German group announced the name of Wilhelm Rehn (pictured below), member of the ZF Board of Management, as the new responsible. At that time, Mr Rehn said that the goal of the new division was to support the ambitions and projects of «truck, bus, coach and trailer OEMs, as well as fleets, world-wide».

ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions

Now, ZF declared that the Commercial Vehicle Solution division «combines ZF’s expertise in the commercial vehicle industry and will significantly advance solutions for safe, sustainable and digitized transport». The new division unites ZF’s former Commercial Vehicle Technology and Commercial Vehicle Control Systems divisions, the latter of which was formed from ZF’s May 2020 acquisition of WABCO.
