DB Schenker to use 40 Volvo FM electric trucks for groupage transport in Germany

DB Schenker is introducing electric trucks with trailer capability for the first time in last-mile delivery in Germany.
DB Schenker is expanding its zero-emission fleet with the addition of 40 Volvo FM electric trucks. The electric 20-ton trucks with the option for trailer operation “are perfectly suited for both urban and regional transports”, as stated by DB Schenker. The 40 new vehicles will be deployed nationwide from December 2024.
