In Leipzig, the very first 40-tonne truck was handed over by MAN Board Member for Sales, Friedrich Baumann, to automotive supplier DRÄXLMAIER Group. DRÄXLMAIER will use the MAN eTGX to transport batteries for the Porsche Macan Electric to the Porsche plant in Leipzig.

MAN eTGL has got payload up to 6.6 tons, and 4,500 mm wheelbase. Body length ranges from 6,200 to 7,300 mm. Talking about the truck driveline, two battery packs are available and mounted on different sides of the frame, with a central drive unit to give power to the e-truck. Range up to 235 km.
