Peter Friedrich, owner of Getränke Friedrich in Seligenstadt, Germany, has chosen an all-electric FUSO eCanter in his daily home-delivery business. The entrepreneur from Hessia relies on a compact eCanter with an S-Cabin and a flatbed tarp body to make his home delivery service more sustainable.

The battery-electric 8.55 t light-duty trucks with a 4,450 mm wheelbase come with a 129 kW electric motor and the L-size battery pack with a range of up to 200 km with one battery charge. Another important delivery was carried out by FUSO not long ago in Greece.

Two FUSO eCanter electric trucks, each with a gross vehicle weight of 7.49 metric tons and space for eleven standard pallets, as well as a Renault Master E-Tech Electric weighing 3.5 metric tons and with five pallet spaces, travel for DACHSER in the city without producing any local greenhouse gases.

The compact 8.55-tonne vehicles have a wheelbase of 4,750 mm and a maximum body length of 7.2 m, offering up to 15 pallet spaces. The FUSO eCanter vehicles located in Sweden are equipped with the size M-battery pack, which consists of two batteries and promises a range of up to 140 km.

At least 40 of the 8.55 t vehicles are expected to be deployed from November in Athens and Thessaloniki, while the entire delivery is expected to be completed over the course of next year.
