The new systems include its 1,280 KW Nexus Distributed Charging System for fleets and its third generation 240 KW chargers for fleets and passenger vehicles. The latter is expected to enable Class 6 to 8 vehicles to reach 80 percent charge in as little as 30 minutes.

PreZero in Sweden took its first electric truck from Volvo Trucks into service in 2022. Now, the company decided to invest in some more zero-emission vehicles: according to Volvo, mosto of them are the FM Low Entry model, Volvo’s first ever truck only developed with electric drive.

The solution called More Plugs maximize the number of charging plugs, allowing more charging sessions simultaneously. The enhanced charging solution makes it possible to transfer more energy and serve more EVs at the same time, leading to faster return on investment for charging operators.

The charging system conceived and developed by Dutch company ROCSYS does not need any human intervention to charge an electric truck. The system itself is capable to reach the socket with the help of cameras and sensors.
