Two FUSO eCanter electric trucks, each with a gross vehicle weight of 7.49 metric tons and space for eleven standard pallets, as well as a Renault Master E-Tech Electric weighing 3.5 metric tons and with five pallet spaces, travel for DACHSER in the city without producing any local greenhouse gases.

Five Renault Trucks E-Tech D are already in use for Dachser. Seven more vehicles of this type and three Renault Trucks E-Tech T tractors are now being delivered. The latter are used at Dachser in Öhringen, Neuss and Langenhagen.

Frigoscandia, headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden, has a close-knit and efficient network for the distribution of temperature-controlled and frozen food. With the completion of the transaction, all of Frigoscandia’s approximately 1,300 employees will transfer to Dachser. 

The acquisition, subject to approval by the European competition authorities, is expected to strengthen its food logistics network in Europe. Upon completion of the transaction, Frigoscandia will be fully integrated into the Dachser Food Logistics Network.
