The joint venture shared by Norwegian Hydro and Swedish Northvolt has taken its final investment decision on expanding its business to France through establishing recycling capacity located in Hordain in the heart of Northern France’s battery valley.

Stena Recycling will collect and store production scrap, train personnel at the Morrow Cell Factory in relevant procedures, as well as transport and handle the scrap at the new battery recycling facility in Halmstad, south of Sweden.
