German pepper motion to partner with Toyota on fuel cell module supply
The Toyota fuel cell is now being used for an initial 25 hydrogen trucks based on the Mercedes Benz Atego. These are currently being put into operation by Paul Nutzfahrzeuge.
German electrification specialist pepper motion will partner with Toyota, with the latter in charge of supplying fuel cell modules for pepper motion’s electric vehicles. The Toyota fuel cell, part of the hydrogen version of the pepper kit, is characterized by its compact design and robustness, with all auxiliary components of the fuel cell stack already integrated.
The fuel cell has so far been used in various applications including non-automotive, thus continuously proving its quality in real-world applications. It is suitable for 350 bar tank systems, with its long maintenance cycles, has only low maintenance costs. The Toyota fuel cell is now being used for an initial 25 hydrogen trucks based on the Mercedes Benz Atego. These are currently being put into operation by Paul Nutzfahrzeuge.
