The Nissan Townstar electric van is now available with longer wheelbase options in Europe, in both the thermal and the electric version. More into details, the Nissan Townstar van L2 boasts an increased length of 4910 mm. This length allows for a wider side door of 831 mm, ensuring customer can load one Euro pallet and giving a greater versatility in terms of loading options.

Nissan Townstar electric van: more options for the customers

In its electric version, the Townstar L2 comes with a 45 kWh battery that allows both AC (11/22 kW) or DC charging; 245 Nm of torque and 90 kW motor. The zero-emission nature of the model also allows drivers to comply with potential or existing emissions restrictions legislation introduced for urban areas across the market. The Townstar Van L2 is also equipped with an array of active and passive safety features common in most Nissan models, designed to give drivers and passengers extra peace of mind. Such features include Blind Spot Warning, ProPILOT and Intelligent Around View Monitor.

With a significantly higher cargo capacity, remarkable payload, impressive towing capacity and increased length, the Townstar L2 has most of the traits of a mid-sized EV van.
