JOST officially confirms the acquisition of Hyva, a global specialist in hydraulic solutions for CVs

The news had been highly anticipated during the last IAA. Now, it’s official: JOST has acquired Hyva, a global specialist in hydraulic solutions for commercial vehicles. According to the official press note, this operation marks “a significant milestone in the growth journey of JOST, strengthening its position as a leading supplier for On-Highway and Off-Highway applications in the commercial vehicle industry”.
Front-end tipping cylinders, a full range of double acting cylinders, container lifting systems (hookloaders and skiploaders), waste handling solutions (refuse collection bodies and compactors), and truck-mounted cranes are among the products included in Hyva’s range. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Hyva counts over 3,000 employees and operated in over 110 countries globally. The company relies on 14 production sites in Europe, Brazil, China, India, and Mexico.
