Hydrogen trucks, HVS will supply 30 fuel cell vehicles in the UK
Founded in 2015, Explore, the company that will use the trucks, is a specialist supplier of transport and plant hire services to a diverse range of industry sectors including aerospace, construction, rail and nuclear, and is one of the fastest growing haulage and plant hire businesses in the UK.
Fuel cell truck manufacturer Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) will supply 30 fuel cell vehicles in the UK. A partnership agreement with Explore Plant & Transport Solutions (Explore) was recently signed and announced by the company. Explore will deploy on their fleet across the UK.
As explained by HVS, the vehicles will be supported by a service and maintenance plan, full training on the safe use of hydrogen, refuelling and driver training, and a hydrogen fuelling infrastructure that fully meets the needs of their operation.
