Rampini is an Italian-based zero emission bus manufacturer. Now, the company has announced the establishment of a brand-new division called H2EUPower, specializing in a series of hydrogen fuel cell power system solutions in the power range from 30 to 140 kilowatts for commercial vehicles, off-highway and stationary applications. These products will be commercialized all over Europe.

Although part of the Rampini group, H2EUPower operates “independently from the parent company in terms of both technical and commercial aspects of its business”, reads the press release announcing the new development.

Originally a hydrogen mobility focused engineering team within Rampini, H2EUPower was formally established as an independently operated division of the company in early 2024 “with the goal of extending access to design, performance and supply chain benefits to the OEMs across the entire European hydrogen ecosystem”, the company states. And adds: “Over the following few months, the division was further bolstered with some of the top fuel cell power systems’ technical and commercial experts, thus bringing together an unprecedented experience of over 25 fuel cell power system OEM design wins across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific”.

“Over the last few months, H2EUPower has done an incredible job in putting all the experience we have had with OEMs around the world, and producing what I believe is truly the best of breed solution for our European customers”, added Luigi Fusi, at the helm of Rampini’s division. “We are just getting started full scale now! We have a number of very exciting technological and sales options we are looking forward to sharing with the market in the upcoming weeks and months.”
