The new Fiat Professional electric Scudo van is now available for ordering, as announced by the manufacturer, which had launched the electric version of the well-known commercial vehicles back in October, this year. It is indeed the second Fiat Professional vehicle also available in its electric version following the E-Ducato, launched in April this year and winner of the Sustainable Truck of the Year 2022 in the Van category.

According to Fiat Professional, the range of the E-Scudo, which is available with a 50- or 75-kWh battery, reaches 330 km in the WLTP cycle. The van is equipped with an AC charging capacity of up to 11 kW, and up to 100 kW in DC, to charge the more capacious battery to 80 percent in 45 minutes. Load capacity do not change whatever is the powertrain, and payload in the core of the segment: up to 6,6 m3 loading bay volume, payload up to over 1 tonne and likewise, a towing capacity of 1 tonne.

Fiat Professional electric Scudo: ADAS and configurations

The New Scudo delivers a complete set of safety and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features, among which are automatic road sign recognition; automatic emergency braking, triggered when there is a high risk of collision and Lane Departure Warning, to advise the driver if they veer out of lane; and Blind Spot Alert, a greatfeature that provides notifications of any vehicles hidden in the wing mirror blind spot when overtaking.

The Scudo is available in four configurations (Van, Crew Cab, Cab with platform and Combi M1), three trim levels (Easy, Business and Lounge), and four diesel engines on top of the electric powertrain. The entire range is available in an electric version, from the van to the cab, crew van and combi versions, the latter with up to 9 seats.
