Ekoenergetyka and Volvo to partner
The Volvo FH Aero Electric truck, with gross combination weight of 44 tons, arrived at Ekoenergetyka’s headquarters with a battery charged to 35%. Charging to an optimal 80% level took just 45 minutes, with the battery operating at a voltage of 825 V. Thanks to its high-voltage battery, the truck drew maximum charging power at 330 A, reducing strain on the charger and ensuring efficient energy use. This is what Ekoenergetyka stated about the testing process.
At an ambient temperature of approximately 10°C, the Volvo FH Aero Electric charged at a power level of 235 kW. According to Ekoenergetyka: “These results confirm the versatility of the Axon Easy 400, which performs exceptionally well in charging both passenger and heavy-duty vehicles, meeting the demands of the e-truck sector”.
