At the current IAA Transportation, Polish charging system manufacturer Ekoenergetyka unveiled its brand-new SAT 1500 megawatt charging system. It is indeed the very first MCS developed by Ekoenergetyka. After the unveiling, the system, which is specifically design for heavy-duty electric trucks, will enter the market not before next year.

Capable of delivering up to 1500 A and more than 1 MW of power, this advanced solution significantly reduces charging time to just 35 minutes, perfectly aligning with mandatory driver breaks. The SAT 1500 MCS is available in three configurations featuring liquid-cooled MCS and CCS HPC connectors, ensuring fast, safe, and reliable charging for various fleet needs. Its compact design allows for the simultaneous charging of two vehicles, ideal for space-constrained environments such as transport routes and logistics hubs.

A debut in the megawatt charging arena for Ekoenergetyka

Thanks to its compact design and the ability to charge two vehicles simultaneously, the SAT 1500 MCS is ideal for areas where space is limited, such as along major transportation routes and logistics hubs.

The system has got up to 2 charging points (1 satellite), and operates via intuitive 10” screen integrated with RFID. Cable for unobstructed access to the vehicle is MCS – 3.5, CCS HPC – 3.5 / 4.5 m. The new charging station is capable to supports trucks and all electric vehicles (with CCS sockets).
